Frequently asked questions

When does a new round start?

Every day at 00:00 UTC. The home screen shows how long until the next round.

Can I play without creating an account?

You can play without an account. To save your score and appear on the leaderboard, create one and the rounds you already played on this device will be attached to it.

Can I replay an old round?

Yes, from “Past rounds” on the home screen. A replay is unranked: your score is compared with that day's leaderboard, never entered on it.

Why is a puzzle in another language?

When the article doesn't exist in your language, the game uses another one and tells you. A correct answer in any of the six languages is accepted.

Where do the clues come from?

From the article's Wikipedia categories, gathered across languages, as well as from its picture on Wikimedia Commons. A few categories may also be added by hand.
